The Fresno State Creative Writing Alumni Chapter presented an evening with alumni authors Dixie Salazar, Suzanne Lummis, and Kenneth R. Chacón, to benefit the Larry Levis Creative Writing Scholarship.

Saturday, March 25, 2017
5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Smittcamp Alumni House at Fresno State

The Creative Writing Alumni Chapter celebrated the publishing accomplishments of alumni authors Dixie Salazar, Suzanne Lummis, and Kenneth R. Chacón in our first Fresno Writers Read event. The event’s goal was to bring together multiple generations of Fresno writers to share their love of literature and to connect the Fresno literary community. Proceeds from the event went toward the creation of our new Larry Levis Creative Writing Scholarship, which will directly benefit current graduate students. After the reading, there was a book signing. Dinner was a street taco bar, with choice of chicken or carne asada, and light desserts. There was a no-host bar.
